Lena J. Shaffer

Lena J. Shaffer, 87, of Union, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

Mrs. Shaffer was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Spoon, and her daughter, Linda Jones.

A Graveside Service will be held for Mrs. Shaffer on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca.

The family requests that memorials be made, in lieu of flowers, to Temple Baptist Church, 213 W. Curtis St., Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.


Douglas Edward Cleveland

Douglas E. Cleveland, 68, of Simpsonville, husband of Janice Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 while at home with his family by his side.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Barnett Franklin Cleveland Jr. and the late Alyce Calder Cleveland. Mr. Cleveland served our country in the United States Navy.

Florence E. Tripp, 84, of Simpsonville, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Born in Simpsonville, she was a daughter of the late Edward Jerome Day and the late Carolyn McDaniel Day.

Mrs. Tripp was a long-time member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. She retired after many years of service at Southern Bell, Duke Energy and Intercom Radio.

Richard M. Creasi, 86, of Simpsonville, husband of Doris Creasi, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015 while at home with his family by his side.

Born in Bergenfield, NJ, he was a son of the late Nicholas Creasi and the late Mary Resigno Creasi. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and retired from the H.C. Starck Company. Mr. Creasi served our country in the United States Marine Corps.
