Carlos Grady Owenby

Carlos Grady Owenby, 66, of Simpsonville, husband of Elidia Sandoval Owenby, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2015.

Born in Blairsville, GA, Mr. Owenby was a son of the late Grady Owenby Jr. and the late Iowa Harkins Owenby. He was of the Church of God faith and a retired truck driver.

In addition to his wife Mr. Owenby is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Owenby of North Carolina, Susan Collier of Simpsonville, and Patty Rivera of Fountain Inn: one son, Shane Owenby, and his wife, Crystal, of NC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Owenby, and his wife, Judy, of NC; and three sisters, Naomi Holland and husband, Charles, Vera Stamey and Carolynn Owenby, all of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by one son, Rick Cardinas.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
